KGF Producers, Slowed Down? Or What?

Looking at the speed with which top production houses of the country like Mythri Movie Makers, AGS (Tamil Nadu) and Dharma Productions (Karan Johar) roll out movies in a series, without any breaks, many wonder what happened to the producers of the KGF and Kantara series, Hombale Films. After those two successful franchisees, they are not seen anywhere. Do they slow down?

Well, it looks like Hombale Films doesn’t want to rush with every single script that comes their way, but come up with movies that would actually make sense, make money and make history. After KGF and Kantara, they are likely to come up with Salaar Part 2 and then KGF Part 3. While Salaar 2 is already confirmed, KGF 3 should be worked out. Then they have two other big movies, one is Suriya’s next with TJ Gnanavel and another film with Hrithik Roshan for which they are searching for a story and a director. At the same time, if HanuMan director Prashanth Varma narrates the right film, they will team up with him too.

At the same time, after acquiring the film “Mahavatar Narasimha” from the original makers, Hombale Films is coming up with the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. They have movies like Mahavatar Parshuram, Mahavatar Raghunandan, and Mahavatar Dwarkadhish lined up for release until 2031.

So definitely Hombale Films is not slowing down, but just planning well.
