In today’s movie landscape, where pre-release buzz can make or break a film, one standout song is often enough to change the whole buzz around the film.

Recently, after the song “Nache Nach” from Prabhas’ Raja Saab got released, it dramatically altered public perception around Raja Saab in the Bollywood circles, and upped the ante in Tollywood. It looks like a similar thing is happening with “Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu” now.

Despite multiple songs like Meesala Pilla and Sasireka being quite catchy, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu got projected as a class family entertainer, and the masses are yet to embrace it. Fulfilling that vacuum, the catchy “Hook Step” song that was released last night, went viral across reels and shorts. It was an instant hit due to Chiranjeevi’s signature graceful dance moves and amazing choreography.

The vintage Megastar aura combined with an energetic song that has Baba Sehgal’s magical voice, and Bheem’s foot-tapping music, has surely did the needful for Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu. Probably director Anil Ravipudi expected the same, and hence released this song after the trailer.

Both Nache Nache and Hook Step songs have changed the festive vibes for the respective films, changing the perception around the movies. One powerful song can change fortunes, and that was proved again by these two songs.
