An IMAX In Financial District? Wowww!

One of the biggest and costliest areas in Hyderabad is none other than the Financial District, where there are lots of employees going to offices every day. From IBM to Infosys, ICICI to Amazon, every corporate giant has an office there. So what about a movie theatre around? Currently, there is no entertainment zone in this area other than coffee shops. But here comes an exciting piece of news.

At the popular Wipro Circle in the Financial District of Hyderabad, where one road leads to Nanakramguda and another to Nallagandla, and the other two roads lead into the SEZs, a new complex is coming up, which is being carved out by the popular Aparna Group. Reports are coming that they want to come up with a 12-screen multiplex in the same building, and one of the screens will be an IMAX-sized one. Aparna Cinemas will be the name, and the plans are already underway, they say.

Forget about IMAX; even if a normal theatre comes up in that area, surely it’s going to get busy because many employees who want to catch a film after their shift or before their work hours would be too excited for that. Now if an IMAX comes up, that’s a bonus, and that would be India’s most occupied screen for sure.
