The iBomma case rolled into its fifth straight day, and honestly, it’s turning into a bigger puzzle than anyone expected. Immadi Ravi’s custody ends today, but Cyber Crime teams say he barely gave straight answers all week. They confronted him with server maps from abroad, wiped hard-disks, domain histories, even old email trails. But he kept repeating the same line, almost like a script, everything is somewhere abroad, nothing is his. Most of the data was erased before the arrest, except the movie files. Police had been tracking him quietly for nearly three months before finally cornering him.

From what he has admitted, one thing’s clear: Ravi built the site himself. A simple web designer who slipped from watching pirated movies to running a full-blown piracy platform. His explanations keep changing, so officials are thinking of asking for more custody. They’re also checking domains tied to “ER Infotech,” online transactions, and the cards used to keep the website running. Every new detail seems to open another door.

Outside the interrogation room, a completely different drama unfolded. Ravi’s father, Apparao, got emotional in an interview and shared their family’s rough past, poverty, hunger, zero support. He claimed powerful people with “hundreds of crores” at stake are angry and pushing the narrative hard.

Apparao didn’t spare the film industry either. He questioned sky-high ticket prices, hero salaries, and the way poor families end up spending thousands for one movie night. In his eyes, Ravi unintentionally became a “hero” to those who couldn’t afford theatres. Despite the chaos, Apparao says he wants nothing from his son except the truth finally coming out.
