Today, Allu Arjun stands as one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. All of India is eagerly awaiting the theatrical debut of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 and the stage is set for the big release tomorrow.

While Allu Arjun might be one of the biggest stars in the country today, it hasn’t always been the case with him, particularly at the early stages of his career.

Bunny started of his career with Gangotri, which proved to be detrimental for his career for a brief period of time. His odd looks in the film, did not necessarily strike the right chord with the audience.

Had it been some other hero with such a soft launch to his career, he would have found it hard to sustain in the industry. But given the kind of hard worker that Allu Arjun is, he managed to write the script of his career with his own hands.

With youthful blockbusters, like Arya and Bunny, Allu Arjun hit the peak of his progress quickly after this debut. He moulded himself into a stylish icon with his peculiar dressing choices and energetic presence on screen. This peculiarity is what got him closer to the audiences across the country.

The best thing about Allu Arjun‘s career is that he did not stick to one particular genre or style of filmmaking. He kept switching things up and tried his hand at love stories, action films, social dramas, and emotional sagas.

With Vedam, he explored the subtle actor in him and delivered a thumping film to the audience.

However, the makeshift point in Bunny’s career came after Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India as he revamped his choices all over.

With films like Julayi, Son Of Sathyamurthy, Ala Vaikunthapurramulo, Pushpa, and now, Pushpa 2, Bunny has been one of the most consistent stars in Telugu cinema in recent years.

It is one thing to be loved by the Telugu audience, but what Allu Arjun achieved is far beyond that. He has attained a humongous popularity amongst the Kerala audience and as well as the traditional mass Hindi belts. In fact he is fondly referred to as Mallu Arjun by the mallu audience.

Today, Allu Arjun is in such a commanding position that the prestigious Forbes magazine has stated that he is charging ₹300 crore per film(Pushpa 2). The best thing about all this is that Allu Arjun achieved whatever he could in his career all on his own and without much external support.

With Pushpa to Allu Arjun‘s pan Indian reach is projected to grow beyond leaps and boundaries and there is no one deserving it more than him. This really has been a remarkable journey from where he has started to where he is today. Kudos to Bunny for sculpting himself into a superstar.
