Sandeep Reddy Vanga's controversial film 'Animal' minted over 900 crores at the box office. His 'Kabir Singh' earned more than 350 crores. Both these movies were the biggest hits in the careers of Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor respectively. But these films faced so much criticism, hatred and hostility from the Hindi film industry. Talking about award shows and how many promote their own rather than newcomers.

He said, “It's literally like animal behaviour, you rebel against anybody who threatens to enter your territory. It happens. Look at awards shows. They promote their own friends. Everybody knows what awards shows are like. I can keep going till tomorrow if I decide to tell you what I've gone through in the last four years with Kabir Singh and Animal. Your camera will run out of memory but I'll keep going, so much has happened to me. But I don't want to cry like a baby.”

In another interview, he talked about women empowerment in his movies. He claimed, “Women empowerment extends beyond traditional roles, including working, engaging in business, and facing challenges. While portraying women as warriors or educators is empowering, it's essential to recognize the significant role of homemakers.”

He added, “He added, “In my view, being a mother is one of the most significant roles. Mothers play a crucial part in shaping their children's lives, whether they stay home or balance work with their maternal responsibilities. They are truly remarkable.” He is currently working on the script of 'Spirit' which is expected to start in the second half of 2024.
