Maestro Ilaiyaraaja heaps Praise On Shashtipoorthi!

Music Maestro Ilaiyaraaja congratulated the team of the film Shashtipoorthi, which has been receiving a great response since its release on May 30.

The film was produced by and stars Rupeysh under the Maa Aaie Creations banner, with direction by Pawan Prabha. Along with Rupeysh, the film features Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Archana, and Akanksha in key roles.

On Ilaiyaraaja’s birthday, the Shashtipoorthi team visited him in Chennai to wish him personally.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad offered flowers to the music legend. During the meet, Rajendra Prasad sang songs from his past films April 1 Vidudala and Preminchu Pelladu, which impressed Ilaiyaraaja. He appreciated him saying, “You are singing very well, Prasad.”

Ilaiyaraaja spent about an hour talking with Rajendra Prasad, Rupeysh , director Pavan Prabha, lyricist Chaitanya Prasad, and cinematographer Ram. He praised their sincere effort in making Shashtipoorthi.

Rupeysh said, “The main reason our film is getting such love is Ilaiyaraaja sir. His support means the world to me. I will continue to make more good films with the same passion.”
