HBD Ilaiyaraaja: Birthday Poster From Biopic

Ilaiyaraaja is one of the legendary music composers we have in the country. With over 1000 films to his credit as a music composer, he is an absolute legend. Now, there is a film aimed on his life and the biopic is currently in the filming stage. Dhanush who is an ardent fan of Ilaiyaraaha is playing the titular role in the biopic. On the occasion of Ilaiyaraaja's birthday today, the makers launched the new poster from the film.

In this birthday special release poster, we can see Ilaiyaraaja in his early days performing at a concert, attended by a huge number of people. The back shot clearly depicts the olden times and the exact look of Dhanush as Ilaiyaraaja is not out yet.

Arun Matheswaran is a young and talented director who is the writer and director of the movie. The buzz is that the film will not have a music director but the tracks composed by Ilaiyaraaja for different films will be used. As of now, there is no confirmation on the same.

On the other hand, Ilaiyaraaja is going to perform live in Hyderabad and Chennai this month.
