If I Believe, I Will Act for Love: Ileana Opens Up
While acknowledging her selectivity in choosing projects, Ileana clarifies that the recent gap in her acting career was not intentional.

In a candid interview, Ileana delves into her character and the challenges she faced during filming.
While acknowledging her selectivity in choosing projects, Ileana clarifies that the recent gap in her acting career was not intentional. The COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020 when she was actively seeking good roles. Filming for "Do Aur Do Pyaar" began in 2021, followed by her pregnancy. "Sometimes," she says, "we have to take a break with nothing in our hands."
Ileana identifies a strong connection with her character, Nora, in "Do Aur Do Pyaar." "Like Nora," she reveals, "I am very sensitive. I want someone who loves me deeply. Touching the people you like, loving them wholeheartedly and trusting them well – I will not hesitate to do all this in front of people. Nora is like that. A man who thinks he is his own wants to be with him all day. His hand does not let go."
The actress takes a lighthearted approach to criticism. "Some people always try to judge others," she says, "They themselves come to a conclusion that certain people are of a certain type. Hearing such things, there is nothing to do but laugh." Ileana was immediately drawn to the script of "Do Aur Do Pyaar" and readily agreed to the role, surprising even the director, Shirisha Guha Thakurta, who perhaps did not anticipate such a swift acceptance for a character with a slightly negative portrayal.
