Indians Really Stealing UK Jobs? Here’s Reality Check!

For the last decade, the volume of the Indian population travelling into the United Kingdom has been going up consistently, and this is partly due to the fact that the United States has started to tighten the immigration rules.

The United Kingdom is comparatively closer to India, which makes it easier to commute as well, and this has been a contributing factor too. However, there is a parallel argument against the Indian development in the United Kingdom.

There is this growing social narrative that the Indians have been taking up the major majority of the jobs that should have gone to the United Kingdom residents. This narrative is being carried in such a way that Indians have been stealing the jobs that should otherwise go to the United Kingdom people.

However, there is this new argument that is coming up and it is making a lot more sense now. A social media influencer from Poland has pointed out that Indians are not taking away the jobs from the United Kingdom people at any cost.

It is being established in this video that Indians are just generally qualified for the jobs that they are applying, and that is the reason why they are getting them in the first place. She clearly pointed out that the people of the United Kingdom cannot complain about losing the jobs that they are anyway not qualified to.

Even in general terms, it doesn’t make any sense for companies to go after Indian employees, just for the sake of it. If the people of the domestic nations are qualified enough, then the companies would happily go for them instead of going for Indians or any other foreign nationals for that matter.

It has been clearly pointed out that it is unfair for the people of any country to cry about losing jobs to more qualified people as this does not make any academic sense.

This is not a scenario that can be applied only to the United Kingdom alone as it is perfectly applicable to the United States and other countries as well
