Ira Khan, the daughter of popular Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, recently married her longtime partner, fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare, in an intimate wedding in Mumbai. The ceremony, held on Wednesday, was attended by close family members, including Aamir Khan and his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.

Ira Khan shared glimpses of the wedding, revealing the unconventional attire of the groom, Nupur Shikhare. He opted for gym shorts and a black vest while formalizing their marriage among their families.

The event took a distinct turn as Nupur Shikhare chose an unconventional mode of arrival. Instead of a traditional entrance, he jogged from his home to the venue, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere. Upon arrival, Nupur celebrated with the beat of the dhol, adding a vibrant touch to the occasion.

The couple's love story blossomed during the COVID-19 lockdown, with Nupur training Aamir Khan while Ira lived with her father. Their engagement occurred in November the previous year, commemorated by a series of heartfelt posts shared on social media platforms.

Expressing her amusement at Nupur's unique arrival, Ira shared a collage on her Instagram Stories, detailing his energetic run to the venue, adorned with cute posters along the way.

Despite their intimate wedding, a grand celebration is planned in Udaipur on January 8, where the couple, accompanied by their families, will partake in a larger-scale ceremony.
