Irumudi Breaks #OG Records And Is Going On

Quite an unexpected movie, and then breaking records, is an interesting phenomenon at the box office. That happened in the case of Superstar Raviteja’s latest flick “Irumudi” which is directed by Majili and Kushi fame director Shiva Nirvana. Currently, Irumudi is breaking many records and is erasing some other numbers. Here’s an interesting insight.

Apparently, Irumudi clocked almost 2.8 million ticket sales on the popular ticketing app BookMyShow, in an unprecedented way. Released last week on August 21st, the film has made the most without having any holiday advantage. Already, it has collected over ₹130 crores gross, and it looks like the poor show of Toxic is resulting in more advantage for Irumudi now. Guess what, with 2.8 million ticket sales, it crossed the final ticket run of #OG at the Telugu states box office.

That said, due to huge price advantage and amazing performance overseas, #OG collected more than ₹280 crores in the full run, while Irumudi might not cross that for sure. However, considering Raviteja's current track record, this is a huge achievement for the star and might give a huge push to his upcoming projects.
