The upcoming Sankranti movie releases are shaping up to be a suspenseful thriller, with each production house strategically shifting for the desired slot. The situation is reminiscent of the iconic "Game of Thrones" series, where alliances shift and unexpected twists unfold.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Vishvambhara," initially slated for a Sankranti release, is now being considered for a postponement of five months. This decision has paved the way for Ram Charan's "The Game Changer" to occupy the coveted Christmas slot. While this news brings joy to some fans, it also leaves others disappointed.

Balayya 109's release date is still uncertain, pending the finalization of its title. January 12th has been floated as a possibility, but an official announcement is yet to be made. Meanwhile, Allu Aravind and Bunny Vaas are working diligently to bring Naga Chaitanya's "Thandel" to the Sankranti race. If "Thandel" misses the mark, it could potentially target Republic Day.

Adding to the complexity of the situation, producer Dil Raju is contemplating avoiding a Sankranti release for Venkatesh's upcoming film with director Anil Ravipudi. Despite the film's rapid progress, Venky's fans have expressed disappointment over the potential delay. While Dil Raju maintains that releasing Venkatesh's film just a few days after their pan-India project is reasonable, the decision remains uncertain.

The Sankranti race is far from over, with several other films vying for a spot. Sundeep Kishan's "Mazaka," Bellakonda Sai Srinivas-Nara Rohit-Manchu Manoj's "Garudan" remake, and Ajith's "Good Bad Ugly" are all in the running.

Ultimately, the final lineup of Sankranti releases will depend on a series of strategic decisions and negotiations. While Venkatesh has expressed his willingness to abide by the producer's decision, the upcoming weeks will reveal the twists and turns of this high-stakes game.
