IT Raids: Heroes Also In Trouble?

Tollywood woke up to some problematic news today as the IT department started to crack down on the leading producers in Telugu cinema, Dil Raju and Mythri movie makers. Starting from earlier today, the IT department officials have been searching the properties that belong to Dil Raju and Mythri.

Along with the leading producers, it is established that certain top heroes are also likely to come under the IT radar now.

As per reports, the IT department is starting to crack down on heroes, who took hefty advances from producers in recent times. In particular, the heroes who took big amount of money through cash transactions are likely to come at the radar of the IT department.

While it is an established fact that there is nothing new in the IT department, searching the properties of Tollywood personalities, the fact that even finances and heroes are coming under the radar this time is a cause of concern.

This is in tune with the fact that Tollywood has quickly become one of the highest paying industries in all of Indian Cinema. All the leading stars in Tollywood are charging tens of crores or even hundreds of crores in remunerations. This could come under serious scrutiny from the IT department now.

On a related note, it is being established that leading financed in Tollywood - Sathya Rangaiah who has been financing films since many decades is also under the radar now as his properties are also getting searched.

This sudden burst from the IT department is becoming a topic of concern amongst Tollywood personalities. It has to be seen where this situation will end up now.
