Prabhas, Mahesh Over! Who Is Next Lord Rama?

During the good old days, many senior actors like Sr NTR, Kantha Rao, Shoban Babu and other stars have convincingly played the role of Lord Rama. But in modern cinema, the role of Rama was never crafted on the silver screen until Prabhas played it in Adipurush. After that film went for a toss, still two big stars dared to play the role of Rama on the screen. And here comes another requirement, and currently it’s not known who will do it.

In the upcoming magnum opus Ramayana being directed by Nitish Tiwari, Bollywood Superstar Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram. Then comes Rajamouli’s mega-budgeted, globe-trotting adventure Varanasi, which has Mahesh Babu playing Lord Rama on the silver screen. Now comes director Prashanth Varma’s delayed film Jai Hanuman, which has Rishab Shetty playing the role of Lord Hanuman. However, the film needs Rama for a sequence, and they are planning to cast a star hero for the same.

As Mythri Movie Makers are carving out Jai Hanuman, they are thinking about approaching the likes of Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Yash, Prabhas and other heroes to consider doing the role of this cameo, where they have to play Lord Rama. Or, they are said to be thinking about showing the character indirectly, like how Lord Krishna was portrayed in the Kalki movie. Let’s see what happens.
