Jail Sentiment Working Out For Biggies!

There are a few sentiments that might look silly but the results prove otherwise. We have seen the key role jail scenes had in the success of Rajnikanth's 'Jailer' which came out in August. Rajni's young look and energetic acting in those scenes were one of the highlights of the movie. His occupation in the movie became the film's title. Now, the jail backdrop played a crucial part in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'. The young SRK is born in jail and was raised by the jail warden. He grows up to be a jailer and hires a few prisoners in his jail to attack the villain. Now, this film is shattering a lot of existing records.

The story doesn't end here. After 'Jawan', 'Bhagavanth Kesari' is arriving in October. Sources say that Anil Ravipudi specially designed the jail episode featuring Balayya. These scenes in the first half are going to be a feast for fans as per reports. Going by the sentiment, Balayya's 'Bhagavanth Kesari' is also going to be a big hit. While 'Leo' and 'Tiger Nageswar Rao' are competing with the film, 'Bhagavanth Kesari' is doing exceptional business.

We have seen a lot of movies with jail backdrop in Telugu over the years. Many of them became big hits too. But they were never selected as the main backdrop. Movies like 'Khaidi', 'Antima Teerpu', 'Khaidi Veta', 'Ganesh', 'Rakshana' and others had some crucial jail scenes. But movies surrounding jail scoring one super hit after another is quite rare. While Rajni's 'Jailer' earned around 600 crores, 'Jawan' is expected to cross the 1000 crore mark. Let us wait and see if 'Bhagavanth Kesari' becomes successful too or not.
