Cashing On Craze: Movie On Cockroach Party

Some filmmakers never shy away from cashing on the current trends. When the film “The Kashmir Files” clicked, many filmmakers came forward, creating movies based on many real incidents that have shaken the country. Though most of these movies end up as disasters, here comes a movie now where an enthusiast wants to cash in on the Cockroach Janata Party and its arrival.

After a CJI commented that some people are like cockroaches, one Abhijeet Dipke, who worked as AAP’s former social media head, used it to his advantage and launched an Instagram page called ‘Cockroach Janata Party ’, which rose to 27 million followers in no time. Later, that party protested against the leak of the NEET exam paper and even got the National Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, to resign. However, the protests turned violent, and some Instagram girls even abused Narendra Modi in filthy language. Now, a guy from Jaipur, Govind Dev, wants to make a movie on this whole happening for under 20 crores.

Guess what: the guy who wants to make the movie already made it clear that he will also show the unknown and unseen side of these protests. For now, there’s no clarity over the happenings as investigative sleuths are yet to file their total report on what went wrong with CJP protests, how they turned violent, and why the Education Minister resigned, but then, some filmmakers want to make a movie of it already.
