What Madness! Ticket Prices For Star Hero’s Audio Launch!

Generally, audio launch events or any promotional activities for South Indian films are held in public places and are free to access for the visitors. But for a change, it appears that Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Jana Nayagan is the opposite case.

The upcoming audio launch of Jana Nayagan has become a hot topic because of its surprising ticket prices. Unlike regular audio launch events, which are usually free for fans with passes, the team behind this film has introduced a paid-ticket system. This approach has shocked many movie lovers since it is not common in South Indian cinema.

The event is happening in Malaysia, and the organisers have planned three different ticket categories. Level one is priced at RM 299 which is roughly six thousand four hundred fifty rupees.

Level two is RM 199 which is about four thousand three hundred rupees, and level three costs RM 99 which comes to around two thousand one hundred thirty five rupees.

The venue has a massive capacity ranging from eighty five thousand to one lakh people. If the event manages to fill up the venue, the ticket collections alone could touch an incredible forty two crore rupees even before including sponsorships and other revenue streams.

This scale is surprising for an audio launch and shows the kind of buzz the team wants to create for Jana Nayagan. But at the end of the day, social media users are unable to digest the fact that the makers are selling tickets for Mani for the upcoming audio launch, which is not what was expected.
