The delay created concern among distributors who had already invested a huge amount to buy the theatrical rights.

Fans have been waiting for official release dates, but the films have faced several delays. Now, the latest updates suggest that both projects are finally moving closer to release.
Among the two, Jana Nayagan recently faced problems with the censor process. Because of these issues, the movie could not arrive in theatres as originally planned. According to the latest reports, the censor-related hurdles have now been resolved, and the film is expected to receive its certificate soon. Once the certification is completed, the makers are likely to announce the final release date.
The delay created concern among distributors who had already invested a huge amount to buy the theatrical rights. Since the release was pushed back by several months, the production house decided to revise its agreements with distributors. Reports say that the company has agreed to cover the bank interest caused by the delay. Some theatrical prices have also been slightly reduced to make the deal fair for everyone.
The producers have also assured distributors that they will not face major financial risk. They have reportedly suggested a new release arrangement where any unexpected losses from Jana Nayagan could be adjusted through business related to Toxic, which is also being produced under the same banner. This proposal has reportedly received a positive response from distributors.
Toxic, starring Yash, has also experienced multiple postponements over the past few months. Even though the film has been delayed several times, excitement remains high because of its strong cast and large-scale production. Fans are eagerly waiting for an official release announcement.
Meanwhile, Jana Nayagan stars Vijay in the lead role. The film is directed by H. Vinoth and features Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Bobby Deol in important roles. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
If everything goes as planned, both Jana Nayagan and Toxic could finally reach theatres soon, ending the long wait for movie lovers and giving distributors more confidence about their investments.
