Is Janhvi Kapoor Charging 10 Crore For 'Devara'?

As we know, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen romancing NTR in the upcoming film 'Devara – Part 1' written and directed by Koratala Siva. A new schedule has begun today in Hyderabad and sources say that the young heroine will also be a part of the shooting along with Tarak. There is a lot of discussion going on regarding the 'Dhadak' heroine's remuneration in this pan-Indian project.

A rumor surfaced on the internet which claims that Janhvi is getting a huge paycheque of 10 crores for this film. This stunned a lot of people and many questioned if the young actress who is struggling for success in Bollywood is worth that much remuneration. However, trusted sources reveal that there is no truth behind this news.

As per reports, Janhvi will be given 6 crores for this film, which is the biggest remuneration she has received to date. Janhvi will be seen playing the role of a village girl named 'Thangam' in the movie. Kalyan Ram is presenting this movie under 'NTR Arts' while Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna are the producers. Saif Ali Khan is the villain while Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko are playing important roles in this movie. Sreekar Prasad is the editor.

The glimpse of 'Devara – Part 1' which came out on 8th January got a superb response. The 'Man Of Masses' is seen slicing the baddies and the visuals in the glimpse impressed a lot of people. The epic background score from Anirudh and Koratala Siva's taking has raised the expectations on the movie. Rathnavelu is the cinematographer while Sabu Cyril is the production designer.
