Janhvi Kapoor in Talks for Nani's Upcoming Telugu Film

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who has faced a series of flops in Bollywood from 'Bawaal' to 'Mr. & Mrs. Mahi', seems to be shifting her focus to Tollywood.

The actress has been making inroads into the Telugu film industry and is reportedly in discussions to star opposite actor Nani in an upcoming project.

The film, which is said to be Nani's most expensive venture yet, is an action drama being directed by Srikanth Odela, the director of the recent hit "Dasara". Srikanth is said to have spent close to two years developing the script for this big-budget project.

If the talks materialize, this will be Janhvi Kapoor's third Telugu film after her debuts in Global star Jr. NTR's "Devara" and Global star Ram Charan's untitled movie. The actress has been actively exploring opportunities in the South Indian film industry, even as she continues to navigate her Bollywood career, which has seen a mix of hits and flops.

The shooting for Nani's film is expected to commence by the end of this year and the makers are planning a 2026 release. With Srikanth Odela's proven directorial skills and Nani's star power, this untitled project is generating significant buzz in the industry.
