Why Did Jayasudha's Husband Commit Suicide? Son Reveals

Legendary actress Jayasudha became famous for her natural acting. She has acted in several films alongside star heroes and is currently playing roles as a mother, sister, and mother-in-law in various movies. However, a tragic incident in 2017 shook her life deeply—the suicide of her husband, producer Nithin Kapoor.

Recently, Jayasudha’s son actor Nihal Kapoor gave an interview and shared details about the reasons behind his father's death. "My father had diabetes from a young age, and he paid extra attention to his fitness. He would go to the gym regularly. After becoming a producer, some of his films were successful, while others failed. One of the projects was halted at the beginning, and another film was taken by a Bollywood producer. He even went to court regarding this, but since those producers were big names, he couldn’t fight them," Nihal explained.

He further mentioned that these challenges affected his father deeply. "All these issues pushed him into depression. He felt like he was ruining the lives of the people around him, and that slowly led him into depression."

When asked if his father had ever decided to end his life, Nihal shared, "He told us about it ten years ago. One day, he got an opportunity in Bombay. He fell from a six-story building at his home and passed away."

He added, "Before that, he had bought new clothes to attend a function. But unfortunately, in that moment, he took his own life. My mother took a long time to recover from that pain," said Nihal Kapoor.
