By: Shanaz B Syed | 13 Oct 2025 10:33 AM ISTA wave of excitement is ready to sweep across homes as Jr NTR’s Devara: Part 1 prepares for its long-awaited television premiere. After a year of waiting since its theatrical release last September, fans can finally catch the Pan-India hit on small screens. The film, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, with Saif Ali Khan and Srikanth in key roles, had already made waves on Netflix in five languages, but television audiences had been left eagerly waiting for their turn.
The delay was not for lack of demand. Industry sources suggest negotiations over satellite rights, low initial broadcaster interest, and preference for festival slots pushed the premiere further. Now, with Jio Star acquiring the satellite rights, the wait is over. The film is set to air on Star Maa (Telugu), Star Gold (Hindi), Vijay TV (Tamil), Star Suvarna (Kannada), and Asianet (Malayalam). The Hindi premiere is confirmed for October 26, with other languages following soon, bringing Jr NTR’s powerful performance directly into fans’ living rooms.
Jr NTR has kept audiences engaged on multiple fronts with a good number of projects. His recent Bollywood debut in War 2 impressed fans, and his appearance at the Kantara pre-release event, even with a minor injury, melted the fans' hearts. The combination of these milestones, along with the upcoming Devara: Part 2 discussions, has kept his fanbase deeply involved and eager for every update from him and for his movies.
The TV premiere is more than just a broadcast; it’s a connection between the film and fans who have been waiting patiently. From theaters to Netflix and now into living rooms, Devara: Part 1 is reaching audiences in a new way. October 26 promises to be a day of celebration, as viewers across India finally get to experience Jr NTR’s magnetic performance and relive the thrills that made the film a Pan-India sensation.
