NTR's Dragon Shoot Paused: Reasons Inside

Telugu star Jr NTR and KGF maker Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film “Dragon” has now hit a short pause, as per the reports. The team was supposed to begin a major schedule this month, but that plan has been halted for now. Earlier, it had already come out that their plan to shoot a major schedule in Jordan and other Middle Eastern countries had been halted due to the Iran-Israel-USA war. Here comes the latest update from the team about the pausing of the shot.

As per the update, the film reportedly features multiple looks for NTR, and the latest schedule was planned around a new look. However, both NTR and Neel were not satisfied with how it turned out, and decided to pause and rework it. Reports say that NTR will put some weight again, before getting ready to shoot the same schedules again. After wrapping up a shoot at a village near Shamshabad recently, the makers are now building a special set in Hyderabad. By the time it gets ready, Jr NTR will be ready with his new look, and will take off the shoot of Dragon again.

On the other hand, delays will definitely affect release plans. The film was earlier announced for June 25, 2026, but that date now looks unlikely. There is talk that Ram Charan’s Peddi might take that slot. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, Dragon carries big expectations, especially after NTR’s recent setback with War 2, while Devara made money and was slammed by critics.
