Finally, the much awaited announcement of Jr NTR’s upcoming film under Trivikram’s direction is made official today. And as the announcement poster came out, without the rumoured title, many are trying to decode what’s that they are talking about. But before anything of that sort happens, it’s the Hindi sloka on the poster that is getting widely noticed.

The Hindi verse happens to be from Subrahmanya Bhujangam, a famous hymn composed by Adi Shankaracharya in devotion to Lord Kartikeya or Subramanya Swamy. While Shankaracharya himself belongs to the South of India and his matams are in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, definitely he would not have written this in Hindi, they say. Tamil folks are currently raising this topic on social media, and trolling director Trivikram big. time.

Another controversy is brewing that Lord Murugan exclusively belongs to Tamil Culture and literature, but the announcement poster featuring a sloka in Hindi, with a Telugu hero, isn’t impressing the Tamil folks. Because he is also called as Thamizh Kadavul (God of Tamil), most Tamil-speaking movie lovers want a Tamilian to play this role.

“Born in the North. Forged in the Heartland. Worshipped in the South.” is what NTR Arts stated on the official social media handles, but then, many are wondering if that is to make this as a Pan-India film mostly. However, Tamil fans are not ready to accept such truths and they are blasting the makers on social media big time.
