Fans of popular actress Kajal Aggarwal were thrown into a tizzy after reports surfaced suggesting she had been replaced in two major films. Here's clearing the air around those rumors.

Firstly, in 2022, Kajal was reportedly part of the Chiranjeevi starrer "Acharya" alongside Pooja Hegde. However, director Koratala Siva later clarified that he had to remove her character due to a lack of scope for a performance worthy of her talent.

More recently, Kajal's absence in the recently released "Indian 2" by S. Shankar sparked speculation about her replacement. The project, featuring Rakul Preet Singh alongside Kajal, saw no sign of the actress in the final cut, including teasers and trailers.

However, here's the twist! Director Shankar himself addressed the concerned fans during a media interaction. He revealed that Kajal will indeed play a pivotal role in the upcoming sequel, "Indian 3," putting the replacement rumors to rest. "Indian 3" is the final installment in the "Indian" trilogy and is slated to be an action-packed Tamil vigilante film co-written and directed by S. Shankar.
