Post Tirumala, Nag Ashwin Spills Kalki 2 Status Revealed!

Ever since Kalki 2898 AD shattered the ₹1000 crore mark, fans have been buzzing with one big question when is Kalki Part 2 coming? Whether it’s public events or movie screenings, director Nag Ashwin gets asked the same thing. And it happened again recently at the re-release of his cult film Yevade Subramanyam.
Nag Ashwin, along with producer Priyanka Dutt and family, visited the sacred Tirumala temple and participated in the early morning Suprabhata Seva. As they exited the temple, fans flocked to take selfies with the director. Amidst the buzz, Nag Ashwin addressed the much-awaited update on Kalki 2, revealing it during a quick interaction with the media.
The director expressed his joy over getting darshan after a long time and said he prayed for the well-being of the entire Telugu film industry. On Kalki 2, he revealed that the script work is currently underway and that the film will take time. If things go as planned, the team aims to begin shooting by the end of this year.
Recently, Nag Ashwin also made headlines for speaking out against the alleged land encroachment at Hyderabad Central University. His stand on protecting green spaces within the university added a strong voice to the ongoing movement, showing he’s not only visionary in cinema but socially conscious too.
