World Television Premiere of Kalki 2898 AD Gets Poor Rating

The world television premiere of Kalki 2898 AD unexpectedly received a poor TRP rating. Usually when a film is a big hit at the box office, it tends to perform well on OTT platforms. But Kalki did not follow this trend. The film which starred Prabhas and was directed by Nag Ashwin, made ₹1100 crore at the box office. Despite this success, it failed to attract viewers on OTT.

Following the same, Kalki's response on television was just as disappointing as OTT. The film achieved a low 5.26 TRP during its premiere. This is considered a poor number for a film with such a big budget and box office success.
