en years back, no one would have even imagined Hindi superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan playing key roles in a Telugu film that is expected to shake the box office across the globe. Did we ever think that Prabhas and Deepika Padukone would act in a movie together along with these two legends? Did we ever think that a director who made only two films till date will bring all of them together and make a movie worth 600 crores?

All of these improbable ideas turned into a reality now and that wonderful cinema is going to hit the silver screens in just a week. 'Kalki 2898 AD' is one gigantic visual extravaganza that is making the entire nation go crazy. The promotional content has been phenomenal and the makers have been releasing videos explaining the world of 'Kalki' and how much effort went into penning the story, and characters and visualizing the various worlds built for this film.

The pre-release event was recently held in Mumbai and it was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt. Rana Daggubati interviewed them and their group picture is certainly the one to remember for a long time. We can see a pregnant Deepika getting seated in front while all the others were standing behind her. Everyone looked their stylish best and the only thing missing in this picture was Nag Ashwin who made it all possible.

With just a week left for the release, people can't wait to see this new-age science fiction mythological based dystopian drama on the big screens. Santosh Narayan is the music composer and it got a U/A certificate from the censor board.
