Like a meteor streaking across the Indian film industry, "Kalki 2898 AD" has dazzled audiences with its jaw-dropping visuals and star power. But behind the camera, the film's cinematographer, Djordje Stojiljkovic, has a story that's more down-to-earth, and a touch funnier.

In an interview, Djordje showered praise on director Nag Ashwin for his clear vision and producer Aswini Dutt for her unwavering support. He lauded Aswini for providing top-of-the-line equipment, ensuring the film's technical aspects were as stellar as the space battles on screen. Nag Ashwin, he revealed, wasn't afraid to tear down a set if it meant capturing the perfect shot – a dedication that truly launched the film into another galaxy.

However, Djordje also shared a lighter anecdote from the set. Apparently, he had a bit of a… well, an ego malfunction. See, Djordje had a cameo as a rebel fighter pilot, all decked out in a cool costume. Unfortunately, his character's spacefaring career was cut short when his plane got blasted into oblivion within minutes. Let's just say, Djordje wasn't exactly thrilled about his short-lived role.

Despite this slightly bruised, Djordje's overall experience on "Kalki 2898 AD" was positive, thanks to the fantastic team. The film's box office success, raking in a whopping ₹1000 crores, is sure to fuel endless excitement for everyone involved, Djordje included. Though next time, he might want to negotiate a slightly more durable spaceship for his next on-screen adventure.
