'Kalki' Gets Animated Makeover for Promotions

The much-anticipated sci-fi film "Kalki 2898 AD," starring Prabhas, has been confirmed to be delayed from its original May 9th release date. Director Naga Ashwin has opted for a unique approach to handle the postponement news.

While the film nears completion, the team is gearing up for a promotional campaign unlike any other. Instead of traditional trailers, they plan to introduce the movie's star-studded cast, which includes Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, through animated videos. These captivating introductions will likely be released on an OTT platform, with Netflix as a potential sponsor.

The animation and dubbing for the ten key characters is already complete, and an official announcement regarding the new release date and the innovative promotional strategy is expected soon.

In the meantime, Prabhas remains busy filming cameos in other projects, including "Kannappa" and "The Raja Saab," while also continuing work on "Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam."
