Thug Life character will stay forever with me - Kamal

Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan, Simbu, Trisha and directed by legendary director Mani Ratnam marks the reunion of Kamal and Mani Ratnam after 38 years. The movie has huge hype and buzz surrounding it and the team has come to Hyderabad to promote the film in a big way.

Mani Ratnam talking about the film stated that he never thought he would direct Kamal Haasan 38 years ago and even today. He stated that like how he could not turn down the offer, he could not even now. So, he made a very emotional film and with such powerful performers at the helm, it became easy for him.

Kamal Haasan stated that he would always be indebited to Telugu people as they made him star. He remembered how Maro Charitra opened doors for him in even other languages. He remarked that soaking in love of Telugu audiences is how he grew to become a big name and he would expect same appreciation for his Thug Life.

He stated that the character he played in Thug Life will stay with him forver as some characters get difficult come out off. And if such a thing happens, then it is a mark of a great film and he implied that Thug Life is a great film and wished it to outlive and perform Nayakan as well.

He expressed confidence in it being a resounding blockbuster everywhere and he called promotions as pre-release celebration. Suhasini who accompanied Mani Ratnam, stated that she saw the film and it is outstanding. Shreshtha Movies is releasing it in Telugu and the movie is releasing worldwide on 5th June.
