Unique New Movie Choice Shocks Kamal Haasan Fans!

Just when you think Kamal Haasan’s filmography can’t get any more unpredictable, he pulls out another surprise. Known for titles that carry weight, meaning, or a cultural punch like Hey Ram, Vishwaroopam, Papanasam, and Indian Kamal has often used film names as a clever window into the soul of the story. After wrapping up Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life, which is locked in for a June 5 release, Kamal is shifting gears to his next venture tentatively titled KH237. Kamal is backing the debut of stunt choreographers Anbu and Arivu (of Vikram fame) as directors for this action-packed drama, under his own banner Raj Kamal Films International.

Currently in pre-production, the film is expected to go on floors by July or August. The buzz doesn’t stop there reports suggest that Kamal will be undergoing a full-body transformation to sport a slimmer, meaner look for the role. Given the Anbu-Areevu duo’s incredible stunt work in Vikram, expectations are sky-high for what this directorial debut could deliver.
