Buzz: Kamal Haasan To Team Up With Cult Director

Many Tamil heroes and some Telugu stars also look forward to working with director Vetrimaran at least once in their careers. Though he has directed very few films in his career, including the likes of Aadukalam, Visaranai, and the recent Asuran, they are examples of how he crafts content. Especially the intensity he builds in his movies is terrific, so often the main leads stun with their brilliant and career-best performances in those roles.

Reports are now doing the rounds that veteran star Kamal Haasan is getting ready to join forces with Vetrimaaran for an upcoming movie. Though Kamal has his multi-starrer movie with Superstar Rajnikanth in the offing, he’s said to be looking forward to delivering some intense projects after the likes of Thugs Life, which failed to click. However, though Vetrimaaran’s story excited Kamal, the director’s current busy schedule is something that might not allow this project to happen anytime soon.

Because Vetrimaaran is right now carving Arasan with Simbu, he has Vada Chennai 2 with Dhanush, which will be followed by Suriya’s Vaadivaasal. However, if the director wants to take off Kamal Haasan’s film first, after wrapping Simbu’s movie, then surely all other projects would wait. But these days, with producers going tough on directors, especially in the Tamil industry, where they are lodging cases on directors for delays, we have to see if the combo happens anytime soon.
