Did Kamal Haasan Troll Thalapathy Vijay Politics?

Tamil Nadu politics are set to undergo a significant transformation. This is primarily due to the fact that Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is entering into the political arena with his TVK party, which is going to contest the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election.

In this context, something very interesting is happening now as Thalapathy Vijay is bringing huge crowds for his political events in Tamil Nadu. While a few politicians feel that he will have a significant impact, many others are writing it off by saying that film stars will pull crowds, but not votes.

Interestingly enough, it is now the turn of veteran Tamil actor Kamal Haasan to express his opinion on this matter as he was of the opinion that Thalapathi is able to pull the crowds, but that does not reflect in votes.

In his latest interaction, with a leading national Media outlet, Kamal Haasan was asking about the kind of impact that Thalapathi could be having in Tamil Nadu politics. “Historically, several film stars have been able to pull massive crowds. But the crucial challenge is going to convert this into actual votes in the election.” Kamal said.

Kamal further added that this is not just a problem for Thalapathy Vijay, but also every other film superstar who became a politician in the country, including himself. He was of the opinion that Vijay might not have too much of an impact in Tata Tamil Nadu politics, as converting these crowds into votes is not easy.

When asked you to give a suggestion to Vijay, Kamal Haasan said he must work with right conscience and for the betterment of Tamil people.
