Kamalinee Mukherjee, who impressed audiences with Anand, made a mark with films like Godavari and Gamyam. Even if some later films didn’t succeed commercially, her acting was always praised. Recently, she opened up about why she stayed away from Tollywood for over a decade. She said a role in Govindudu Andarivadele didn’t turn out as expected and left her feeling disappointed. That experience kept her from taking more Telugu films at the time.

She also spoke about her co-stars. “Akkineni Nagarjuna is still very charming and fun to work with. Sharwanand acts naturally and is dedicated. He doesn’t need to prove he is a star; his work speaks for itself,” Kamalinee said. Her words show the respect she has for colleagues, even after years away from Telugu cinema.

After working on "Govindudu Andarivadele" in 2014, Kamalinee focused on Tamil and Malayalam movies. She received a lot of positive feedback for her roles in "Iraivi" and "Pulimurugan," which showed her talent and ability to act in different film industries. Her fans still appreciated her acting, proving that her skills stayed strong even after she took a break from Tollywood.

The interview shows Kamalinee's honest views and her thoughts on her career.

She talked about the reasons behind her decision to move away from Telugu films and mentioned the actors she enjoyed working with. Now, her fans are hoping to see her return to Telugu cinema, eager to experience her natural acting and hard work in new projects.
