Suriya Eyeing December While Vikram Aiming For August!

There is a sentiment going around in the industry that films that arrive in December turn out to be hits. There are three big releases arriving in December 2024. The biggest of the lot is the pan-Indian film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' which is releasing on 6th December. There are massive expectations on this movie. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' and Nithiin's Robinhood' are also arriving in the same month.

There are reports that 'Game Changer' might also be released in December if it fails to arrive during the Diwali season. On the other hand, there are reports arriving that Suriya's period fantasy drama 'Kanguva' is eyeing to get released on 20th December. It becomes a huge competition between two pan-Indian films but we need to see how things turn out. Allu Aravind and Gnanavel Raja share a good relationship and they may come to a solution in order to avoid any competition.

Keeping it aside, Vikram's 'Thangalaan' is reportedly aimed to hit the screens on 15th August. As 'Pushpa 2' which was supposed to arrive on this date got pushed to December, Ram and Puri's 'Double Ismart' is arriving on this date. If things go as planned, 'Thangalaan' may arrive on the same date. This film directed by Pa Ranjith is a period drama and the promotional content that came out till date generated a lot of curiosity.

Looks like both August and December are going to be filled with crazy projects.
