Dhanush’s New Film Trailer Gets A Mixed Response

Talented actor Dhanush always excites movie lovers with his terrific performance in the movies, but most of the time, his movies fail to click at the box office. Barring Tere Ishq Mein and Kubera that came out recently, most Dhanush films are ending up as disasters. This is because of the story's repetitiveness in fact.

One of the upcoming films of Dhanush is “Kara” which is being directed by Vignesh Raja. The teaser of the film, titled “The Name Is Kara”, got released the other day. Of course, the teaser features Dhanush as Karaswamy and he belongs to a backward family in the first, then faces atrocities, and turns out to become a vigilante. This is the kind of story that Dhanush’s many films used many times to date, including acclaimed movies like Aadukalam and Asuran.

Perhaps that’s the reason Kara teaser got a mixed response from movie lovers and fans alike. Though the quality of the film and the background score by GV Prakash are exciting, somehow the story shows Dhanush in the same old mould.

One exciting thing for the youths about this film is that it has heartthrob Mamita Baiju as the leading lady. The film “Kara” is aiming for a Summer 2026 release.
