Karthi's Annagaru Vostaru grand release in December 2025

Tamil actor Karthi’s 27th film, Vaa Vaathiyaar, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and produced by KE Gnanavelraja under Studio Green, is gearing up for a grand release in December. The movie features Krithi Shetty as the lead actress, along with Shilpa Manjunath, Rajkiran, Anand Raj, Sathyaraj, Karunakaran, GM Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, PL Thenappan, Vidhya Borgia, Nivas Adthitan and Madhur Mittal in significant roles.

With music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, the film brings together a strong creative team. Set for a December 2025 theatrical release, the film marks Nalan Kumarasamy’s return to direction after a four-year gap. The team has also confirmed that the movie will hit theatres simultaneously in Telugu, where it will be presented under the title Annagaru Vostaru. It is known that Karthi has a good fanbase in Telugu and makers are planning to cash it.

To announce this, Studio Green released a fresh poster, building anticipation across both markets. Earlier, a teaser gave audiences a glimpse of Karthi as a dynamic police officer who steps out of his vehicle to join the festivities of a lively procession. Marketed as an action-packed entertainer, the film promises an immersive viewing experience, enhanced by Santhosh Narayanan’s powerful score and Karthi’s commanding screen presence.
