HIT 4 Update Revealed At Karthi’s Movie Event

Tamil actor Karthi is gearing up for Annagaru Vostunnaru, which recently cleared the U/A censor and is set to hit screens on 15th December. At the Hyderabad pre-release event, he chatted with fans in his usual easy style and spoke about the film and a few other things that popped into his mind on stage.

He said the movie digs into how our liking for heroes slowly turns into devotion, something we’ve seen in the mass films of the 70s and 80s. Karthi mentioned NTR and MGR as the real superheroes our culture already had, people who started small and still managed to shake up cinema and society. He also said director Nalan Kumarasamy’s comeback gave him a world and a role that pushed him in a good way.

The much-awaited question came when Karthi suddenly turned to director Sailesh Kolanu and asked, right there on the mic, when HIT 4 would finally start. The crowd woke up instantly, almost like they weren’t expecting that curveball from him.

Sailesh laughed and said he’s still wrestling with the script and needs a little more time. With Nani backing the project and Karthi stepping in for the fourth chapter, fans already seem charged up. Once the script settles, more updates should roll out.
