Tamil Hero Karthi is a dear actor for the Telugu audience as well. He is equally loud in Telugu states and his films, generally, do well here in the Telugu market if the word of mouth is pretty positive.

Coming to the topic now, the upcoming film of Karthi has been tentatively titled Karthi 29 and a related update on this project has been released now.

According to this latest update, this film which is tentatively titled Karthi29 is a raw and rustic actioner. Another highly interesting update about this film is that it will not just feature Karthi in an important role, but it will also have veteran and versatile actor Vadivelu in a crucial role.

The film is directed by talented young Tamil film maker named Tamizh. Young film maker race said to have a very strong Tamil centric mindset, and he makes films that are entirely rooted in the Tamil culture. So on this front, this film might not have too much of a prospect in the Telugu states, considering the nativity factor associated with the Tamil culture of filmmaking.

But nevertheless, it is good that Karthik is trying this raw and rustic genre after a long time. It would certainly challenge the actor in him, and also at the same time gain the attention of a small section of the Multiplex audience in the Telugu states.

The film is currently under production and more details about the same will be released in the due course. It is tentatively gearing up for theatrical release by the end of 2025.
