Karthik has delivered another disaster in the form of this Suriya film. It is turning out to be one of the bigger box office flops in recent times due to the lack of positive content.

In this context, the latest communication from Karthik is that he is reportedly preparing for an independent film now. The director revealed that he already has a script in mind for this independent film, and it will have new actors in the lead roles.

Karthik revealed that he wants to work on a relatively small independent film with a new set of actors so that he does not have any box office expectations on the same. He even revealed the plan to release the film in film festivals across the globe, and then release it in theatres, one year after the same.
