Some reports on social media claimed that the two stayed together in the same room during a recent New Year's celebratory trip to Goa. The speculation quickly went viral with fans and gossip mongers drawing their own conclusions, saying that even Karthik and Sreeleela broke up.

With the situation going out of control, Karina Kubiliute took to social media to clarify that the rumours being heard on social media are untrue. Rather than giving any direct comment, the UK-based model updated her Instagram bio, saying, “I don’t know Kartik”, and that creative explanation has caught everyone’s attention now.

Some reports indicated that Karina went to Goa and stayed at the same hotel, but in different rooms, and she might not even know who Karthik Aryan is, for real.
