The Phenomenon Of Kayadu Lohar Fading Out?

Back in 2022, heroine Kayadu Lohar sizzled opposite Sree Vishnu’s Alluri movie, but hasn’t promoted that film. However, after acting as one of the leads in Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon, she got popular, first on social media and then in the Tamil film industry. She signed films left, right and centre. But then, for that crazy phenomenon to work, there’s something else that should work in favour of the actress.

If we look at her 2026 releases, she has Vishwaksen’s Funky, Tovino’s Pallichittambi, Dulquer’s I’m Game, Atharva Murali’s Idhayam Murali and GV Prakash’s delayed movie Immortal, with Nani’s The Paradise being the latest. All these films got below-average talk, and Kayadu’s role hasn’t even got any applause in any of these movies. Despite featuring star heroes who are known for their eccentricity, even the songs haven’t clicked, thus pushing her into the soup. The only success Kayadu has seen this year is the Pavazha Malli song by Sai Abhyankar.

Some say that Kayadu is signing films only for the sake of the high remuneration being offered, but is not actually serious about her role, acting and the output. If she continues to do the same for a long time, then her phenomenon will fade out in no time. There are many heroines like Priya Prakash Varrier and Praneeth Subhash who have all come similarly, signed many films, then vanished. Well, time for Kayadu to recheck her strategies.

Currently, Kayadu has many movies in the pipeline, including a movie with Suriya and another one with Siva Karthikeyan.
