Keerthy Suresh's Hindi Debut To Be A Remake Of 'Theri'?

Star actress Keerthy Suresh is on a roll right now. Her Tamil project 'Maamannan' turned out to be a good hit while her last two Telugu outings 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' and 'Dasara' were commercial successes as well. She is working on a couple of interesting projects right now and trusted sources reveal that she is all set to make her Bollywood debut soon.

News is that the National Award winner is going to romance Varun Dhawan in her maiden Hindi flick. It is going to be a remake of Vijay's super hit movie 'Theri'. As we know, the same film is being remade as 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' in Telugu as well. Coming to the Hindi project, it is expected to start rolling in August and the makers are already planning to release the film on May 31st, 2024.

If sources are to be believed, Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing the role that Samantha did in the original. Atlee who directed the Tamil film will be co-producing this Hindi remake in association with 'Kabir Singh' producer Murad Khetani. Tamil director Kalees is going to handle the megaphone for this Hindi remake. A lot of South Indian actresses are working on Hindi projects lately and they are doing everything they can to find the right balance between North and South.

We need to wait and see if Keerthy Suresh becomes successful in Hindi as well or not. Keerthy will soon be seen as Chiru's younger sister in 'Bholaa Shankar' which will be released on 11th August. She is also working on a couple of Tamil projects like 'Siren', 'Raghu Thatha', 'Revolver Rita' and 'Kannivedi'.
