This heroine, who has shot to fame with films like Mahanati and other female-centric movies, hasn’t scored any blockbuster success in recent times, but has been part of many big-ticket films. Among all, Balagam Venu’s Yellamma sounded like a good film in her kitty.
Quite surprisingly, a report is doing rounds that Keerthy Suresh has opted out of this film as they have roped in composer Devi Sri Prasad as the leading actor, instead of Nithin as expected earlier. As Nithin was sacked, now Keerthy wants to quit the project and conveyed the same decision to producer Dil Raju, as per the reports. When Keerthy Suresh could do films opposite many actors who haven’t scored hits in recent times, many are wondering why she should avoid doing a movie with DSP, as he brought huge buzz to the film with his acting debut.
After facing a similar crises from heroines, even the likes of Rishab Shetty have introduced starlets like Saptami Gowda, and now maybe Devi Sri Prasad and Dil Raju should also think about introducing new talents rather than running after costly starlets. Also, producer Dil Raju is said to be thinking of making the movie on a slightly grander scale than Venu Yeldandi visualised for the movie.
