Keerthy shared that her bond with Antony began during college days in 2010. What started as a friendship turned into a quiet, enduring love. Antony, a businessman with ventures in Kochi and Chennai, spent several years in Qatar, while Keerthy was busy building her film career in India. “We wanted to be sure about our goals first. I was focused on completing my studies and making a name in cinema. He was busy with his work abroad. Only after we both felt ready, we told our families,” she said.

The actress revealed that she was initially nervous about how her parents would react, especially with the difference in religions. “I told my father about Antony four years ago. To my surprise, he immediately said yes. There was no resistance or drama,” Keerthy recalled. She added that balancing faiths wasn’t difficult because both families prioritized love and understanding over customs.

Keerthy also apologized to Jagapathi Babu for not inviting him to the wedding, saying he was one of the few people in the industry who knew about her relationship early on. “I trusted you and shared my personal story. But I couldn’t invite you, and I’m sorry for that,” she said with a smile.
