Khushi Kapoor Gets Brutally Trolled, Here's Why

Ahaan Panday is riding high after his hit debut Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and backed by Yash Raj Films. The film also introduced Aneet Padda and turned into a box-office success. As Ahaan grabs headlines, an old clip of Khushi Kapoor talking about wanting to debut opposite him has come back online, and people have a lot to say.

Back in 2019, on Neha Dhupia’s talk show, Khushi appeared with her sister Janhvi Kapoor. She was asked who she’d want to be paired with for her debut, Aryan Khan, Ahaan Panday, or Meezaan Jaaferi. Khushi picked Ahaan, saying he was the only one she had seen act, so it felt like the “safest option.” Janhvi had a different choice, she said Meezaan would suit Khushi better.

Fast forward to now, Khushi debuted in The Archies in 2023, while Ahaan made waves with Saiyaara, which crossed ₹250 crore. With both having launched their careers, the resurfaced clip sparked debate. Many users dragged Khushi online, saying she would've “ruined” Saiyaara and calling her lucky that it didn’t happen.

Some comments were brutal. One person said, “If Khushi were in Saiyaara, it would've flopped.” Another added, “Thank god this didn’t work out.” A few praised Aneet Padda for making the film work. As of now, neither Khushi nor Ahaan has reacted. Both are yet to announce their next projects, but the buzz around them isn’t fading anytime soon.
