By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Dec 2024 7:48 AM GMTMinister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy has stated that benefit shows in Telangana will not be entertained anymore. The minister made the decision following the demise of a woman named Revathi in Sandhya theatre during the Pushpa 2 premiere. However, there are multiple doubts surrounding the same. We have already revealed what Komatireddy informed us in the morning. Now, we are throwing more insights into the same.
Komatireddy is against the special shows that are being conducted outside the regular timings. Usually, the regular shows will take place from 10 am and the final show will begin max at 10 pm and 11 pm in multiplexes. Komatireddy was not against these shows.
The show in discussion is a regular show which started at 9.30 pm, and it is a normal show, but the chaos happened at the theatre because of overcrowding. The government can not stop the 9.30 PM shows.
Minister Komatireddy said that the government would not grant permission for the benefit shows. By this, the minister meant that all shows released before 7 AM on the day of release would not be there. He means that all shows that take permission from the government will no longer be there.
However, he was not talking about the 9.30 PM shows or the before-day premieres during the regular timings. Since it is considered a standard show, stopping it is impossible. But, if they conduct a standard show, they can not increase the prices irregularly. If anything is found illegal, the government will take necessary action.
But the hikes given to every big movie apply to the 7 AM show, which means they can't be entertained. The government is serious this time and wants to ensure that the safety of the public is more important than anything.
The bottom line of the story is that, Komatireddy means that any show that begins outside regular timing will not be entertained.
