Writer Trying Hard But Will NTR Accept?

Junior NTR is currently one of the busiest actors in South Indian cinema as he has multiple projects in the production stage. But there is this one writer and director, who is very eager to work with NTR.

There is strong buzz in the industry that Kona Venkat is making serious efforts to narrate the story of Adhurs 2 to NTR.

Despite knowing that it may not be easy to convince him, Kona Venkat is reportedly trying in every possible way to set up a meeting and present the sequel idea.

Adhurs, which was released in 2010, became a massive entertainer and is still remembered for NTR’s energetic performance and brilliant comic timing. Naturally, expectations for a sequel would be huge.

However, NTR is currently focused on big pan Indian projects and carefully selecting scripts that match his present image and market. He has the ongoing film with director, Prashanth Neel and then there’s multiple other collaborations as well.

Sources say Kona Venkat strongly believes that Adhurs 2 has the potential to recreate the magic of the original. He is said to be confident that once NTR listens to the full narration, he might reconsider. Still, getting that green signal seems to be the biggest challenge at the moment.
